Acts 20:32 I Commend You to God

Acts 20:32 (KJV) And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

The Apostle Paul in his farewell address to the Ephesian church committed their care once again to God undergirded by God’s Word divinely sent forth empowered by the Holy Spirit to help them persevere in their faith to the end.

He saw the reality of the believer’s heavenly inheritance and gave reassurance that it will be a future reality for their eternal blessing – John 14:1-4 (KJV) Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.

He finally committed to God’s care His flock which Christ has purchased for His glory. Not one shall be lost. Amen.
