Philippians 4:8 Think on These Things

Philippians 4:8 (KJV) Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

The Apostle Paul says in Philippians 4:8, “finally, brethren”, he is directing our focus, our attention, amidst many distractions and temptations, on the Lord Jesus Christ, the Source of truth, purity and life.

This message is given to all believers in Christ, born-again into the kingdom of God whom God has given a new mind by the divine act of the new birth, the spiritual rebirth. Not only to maintain the new mind that God has given to us but keep it pure and maintain it in an undefiled state as best we can from the corruption of the world.

These things meditate and consider for your spiritual protection and prosperity. Take care and therefore it must be in your power to take care that your thoughts shall be kept on things right and good, beautiful and great, virtuous and praiseworthy. Amen.
