Isaiah 55:11-12 So Shall My Word Be That Goeth Forth

Isaiah 55:11-12 (KJV) So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

The Word of God goes forth uninhibited to accomplish His purpose – it shall not return unto me void – declares the LORD. It shall not be nullified, cannot be thwarted by any power in heaven or on earth or underneath the earth.

Rather, it shall prosper, accomplishing the LORD’S purpose for His glory. Therefore, the servants of the LORD can be confident to declare and boldly proclaim His Word.

Joyfully shall His Word be declared, this is the Word of peace and reconciliation – the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you in singing, and all the trees shall clap their hands – cheering us on to proclaim His Word. Amen.
