1 Peter 1:5 (KJV) Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

The power of God enacted for the safekeeping of His people is well explained by the Apostle Peter till they are safely conducted to heaven – 1 Peter 1:3-4 (KJV) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

This safekeeping from harm and danger, from the attack of the evil one, from false teachings as believers trust God and by faith obey His written Word. Though assayed on every side, yet unperturbed – 1 Peter 1:6 (KJV) Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:

This is the believer’s confidence that through the many trials, the power of God will prove stronger than the strongest foes or dire circumstances. Amen.
