Romans 4:24-25 Written for Our Sake

Romans 4:24-25 (KJV)  But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

Abraham believed God and it was imputed unto him for righteousness. He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief but was strong in faith giving glory to God, being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

In his old age, God gave the promised child out of his loins in Isaac. Abraham believed God! Likewise, the Apostle Paul seeks that the gospel of Christ be steadfastly believed, that Christ died for our sins and was resurrected three days later conquering death and sin on our behalf so that God’s wrath upon us is averted as a result of Christ’s suffering and death on our behalf.

We shall be justified in the sight of God and thus be saved from eternal judgment, if we likewise believe as did Abraham Amen.
