Psalm 32:7 My Hiding Place

Psalm 32:7 (KJV)  Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

The psalmist finds in the LORD his hiding place. In the LORD, he is preserved from trouble. He is grateful to the LORD for continual deliverance and extolled the LORD with songs of deliverance.

These songs were composed out of the myriad experiences of the LORD’s goodness in answer to prayer – Psalm 32:6 (KJV)  For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.

In his prayer, he confessed his sins before the LORD and was healed – Psalm 32:5 (KJV)  I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

He contrasted his blessed life in the LORD with those who will not acknowledge Him – Psalm 32:10 (KJV)  Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about. Amen.
