Romans 10:15 Except They Be Sent

Romans 10:15 (KJV)  And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 

The gospel needs a messenger and God sends forth His messengers to preach the gospel. What is the message of the gospel? First, the good news of finding peace with God through Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and the messenger brings glad tidings of good things! Of sins forgiven and reconciliation with God and the hope of eternal life.

The messenger carrying the message must be ready to go forth with energy and vigour as the Holy Spirit leads to bring the good news to all the world, that men and women might be saved, delivered from the judgement of hell fire.

How blessed are these messengers are the thoughts of the writer, their feet indeed are termed “beautiful” because of the good news that these often weary and sored feet carry! Amen.
