Romans 8:29-30 He Also Glorified

Romans 8:29-30 (KJV)  For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

There is a blessed consummation to life with God. It is a happy beginning, no less ending, into eternity. There is no mention of sanctification, rather after justification, salvation in Christ comes the glorification. In the sight of God, He will certainly conduct us all the way to heaven. No doubt concerning this fact, that is our blessed future.

We notice our existence in the sight of God precedes creation. And He created the soul and purified it to be like His Son, that’s sanctification. But the emphasis is our coming to Christ, being called and justified. A process that He orchestrated before the foundation of the world. A most mind-boggling thought.

It affirms God’s love for us above all of His creation. It must bring comfort and commitment to give thanks and glorify and enjoy Him all our lives. Amen.
