Isaiah 55:12 Go Out With Joy and Led Forth with Peace

Isaiah 55:12 (KJV)  For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.

The happy estate of God’s people who walk with Him is fullness of joy and peace in the LORD. For in walking with God, all things work out well. The prophet Isaiah illustrates this by the mountains and hills breaking forth into singing and the trees of the field clapping their hands. A picture of the rejoicing as seen through the eyes of one that walk with God.

Therefore, the exhortation of Isaiah is that His people may seek none other but seek the LORD – Isaiah 55:6 (KJV)  Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

For in doing so, there is mercy from the LORD and pardon – Isaiah 55:7 (KJV)  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

May the LORD strengthen His people to walk with Him. Amen.
