2 Corinthians 5:19, 21 The Word of Reconciliation

2 Corinthians 5:19 (KJV)  To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. … 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

How precious is the word of reconciliation in a striving and divided world, plagued by contention and conflict. Christ was the Word that was made flesh to reconcile sinful men so that men can be reconciled with God through His sacrifice on their behalf.

When men find peace with God because their sins have been dealt with, these men bring peace to other men by introducing others to trust in Christ, so that righteousness may prevail.

What a difference it will be! What a powerful word of reconciliation that Christ brings to this dismay world. Thank God for His mercy. Amen.
