Proverbs 19:23 Abide Satisfied

Proverbs 19:23 (KJV)  The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil. 

Following the LORD, living by His guidance and undergirded by His counsel is life everlasting. Such a life is good for eternity. It brings eternity’s reward, that is, the blessing of the Lord at His return.

The fear of the LORD, a heart attitude that gives God our devotion and reverence brings safety and security. The evil one shall not have a foothold to detract us from Him and from the path of peace.

There is an abiding satisfaction that is well expressed in Proverbs 10:22 (KJV)  The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. Amen.
