Romans 8:38-39 For I Am Persuaded

Romans 8:38-39 (KJV)  For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Apostle Paul is thoroughly persuaded, completely assured, that Christ’s love far exceeds life’s fieriest trials. That Christ’s infinite power, fully backed by His infinite love, will see him through life’s meanest trials.

As he abides in Christ, His joy fills him and His grace enables him and therefore he wrote with an assured faith that God will make good all His promises and fulfil His goodwill in His life for His glory. He can rest in Christ’s love.

Christ’s love has triumphed. It has gotten the victory over the power of darkness and he rejoices and extols God for the greatness of His love. He stands united with Christ, a union that cannot be broken. All praise to Him. Amen.
