Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with All Thine Heart

Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)  Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Trusting God is effectual when it is wholehearted. In so doing, the LORD guides us on our way. The temptation is to rely on ourselves, our wisdom is at best faulty. The spiritual counsel is to come to the LORD at all times.

Proverbs 2:6 (KJV)  For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

Proverbs 2:7 (KJV)  He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

Proverbs 2:8 (KJV)  He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

Solomon rightly points out in the futility of a life without God, a life lived without consulting the Orderer of all things – Ecclesiastes 1:14-15 (KJV)  I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit. That which is crooked cannot be made straight: and that which is wanting cannot be numbered.

Let His people trust in Him at all times. Amen.
