Ephesians 1:3 Heavenly

Ephesians 1:3 (KJV)  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 

The believer is a heavenly being. He is destined for heaven. He seeks heavenly things and receives heavenly blessings. This is only possible through Christ whom he comes to trust.

Ephesians 1:13a (KJV)  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed…

Christ entered human history. He came from heaven to bring heaven to us and He returned to heaven awaiting a time when He would come to receive us and bring us to our heavenly mansion.

Therefore, God’s people are encouraged to seek the heavenly things, be oriented to mind heavenly things, have our value system attuned to eternity as the wise gauge while on earth. Amen.
