Romans 6:22-23 Fruit Unto Holiness

Romans 6:22-23 (KJV)  But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

There is a blessed life that God promised to His people who yield themselves to Him, walking in the spirit. Such a life bears holy fruit. There is a reward awaiting the God-fearer who walks in the perfect will of God.

Malachi 3:16 (KJV)  Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

Malachi 3:17 (KJV)  And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

Being made free from sin, we can choose not to sin, and live in glory unto God by yielding ourselves to His Word and having no confidence in the flesh – Psalm 1:2-3 (KJV) But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

May the Lord bless this new day for His glory. Amen.
