Luke 1:74-75 Serve Him Without Fear

Luke 1:74-75 (KJV)  That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

The Lord has a grand plan of redemption and He fulfilled it and is fulfilling it for His glory. By the Holy Spirit, it was revealed to Zecharias, the high priest, the father of John the Baptizer to proclaim that salvation has come to His people according to the promise of God.

Luke 1:68-75 (KJV)  Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us; To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant; The oath which he sware to our father Abraham, That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.

What great joy it is that Christ should come and that He should reign that His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom of holiness and righteousness. What a glorious intervention by God against the backdrop of unbelief and sin and corruption, violence and death. This is the reign of true peace that Christ brings to man. Praise God for His mercy to save sinners of which we are numbered. Amen.
