Psalm 25:4-5 On Thee Do I Wait All the Day

Psalm 25:4-5 (KJV)  Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

The psalmist’s prayer is that the LORD may guide him in His way, and show him His paths. The LORD may direct him according to His Word, the Word of Truth, that he may understand it and practice it.

Not my will but there is the prayer of the psalmist. He will not walk otherwise. He chooses the narrow path through the strait gate. Jesus’ way may not be the popular way but the safe way.

He patiently waits on the LORD for His deliverance. He will not move ahead but rest in the LORD to guide the way. This is the path of blessing and safety. All praise to Him. Amen,
