Mark 13:31 My Words Shall Not Pass Away

Mark 13:31 (KJV)  Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

God’s Word stands and will continue to stand. It shall not pass away is Christ’s affirmative declaration for our spiritual strengthening. Standing on the promises that will not fail, God’s people have confidence despite the adversarial sentiment of the world.

As we rest upon God’s truth, we are exhorted to be courageous to stand firm upon His Word. The ultimate Determinator and Judge is Christ Himself. As such, the people of God rest assured of God’s vindication of His Word.

Matthew 5:18 (KJV)  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
