1 Corinthians 15:54 (KJV)  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. 

There is but one solution that God provides to the curse of death. It is consummation at the return of Christ to bring His church to glory. This is the church’s blessed hope. This is the blessing that the gospel gives to the dying.

Death is conquered. Death is swallowed up in victory. What a statement of truth that the world needs to hear and the greatest message of comfort in the sin and disease-plagued world.

The decomposed body of the dead in Christ will be given a new body. At Christ’s coming, He will construct a new body for our immortal soul in heaven, where the new body is incorruptible and the soul is joined as one. There is no loss to the dead in Christ for he shall be awake again with a new body. Hallelujah! Amen.
