Romans 8:10 Alive Unto Righteousness

Romans 8:10 (KJV)  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 

The promise of the Spirit’s power in the believer’s life is that he lives in righteousness in the good will of God. This is the blessing of life with God in Christ. This is the promise that the power of sin is broken through Christ.

Because Christ has imparted His righteousness to us by His death and by His resurrection from the dead, we have by the power of His Spirit to live in holiness to the glory of God.

The blessing of God’s presence through His Spirit in us enables us to fulfil God’s purpose and His glory for our lives. Amen.
