2 Corinthians 5:17 All Things Are Become New

2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)  Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

In Christ, we are created anew. The old things are passed away. There is a radical change that took place. A transformation that displaces the old and put on the new. The phrase “new creature” describes the new man in Christ alluding to God’s creative action that begins spiritual life in blessed communion with Him.

Only in Christ can sure a transformation take place – Romans 10:8-10 (KJV) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

The new creature takes on a new nature, godliness through Christ. A most marvellous work that frees us from the bondage of sin, Satan and the world. Enables us to for once truly live. All praise and thanks to our Lord Christ. Amen.
