Psalm 119:164 Seven Times a Day Do I Praise Thee

Psalm 119:164 (KJV)  Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.

There is cause for praise walking with God. The psalmist speaks of the frequency in which he praises the LORD. He says, “Seven times a day do I praise thee.” God vindicated His cause by meting righteous judgments which the psalmist had the privilege to behold!

Jesus exhorts His disciples that “Men ought to pray and not to faint.” (Luke 18:1). He went on to show proof that God does assuredly come to the aid of His people in an unjust world!

Luke 18:8 (KJV)  I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

He observed that faith, that is, persevering prayer will be most wanting in the days nearing the Lord’s return, where darkness envelops the earth. It is much more needful in such a time as this that the church obeys the Lord, assembles for worship and prayer and does His will, and receives His help constantly and consistently.

Praise God for assembling His people to call upon Him. Amen.
