Acts 24:16 A Clear Conscience

Acts 24:16 (KJV)  And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.

A God-centred life is stable. With the Lord’s will always in our sight we shall walk securely. Such a life, the Apostle Paul testifies is blessed of God with good and restful sleep. Cares are cast upon the Lord, He carries them for us.

It’s a life of prayer and also a life centred upon the Word of God. Such a life finds favour with both God and men. Ezra was such an example – Ezra 7:10 (KJV)  For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments.

With the guidance of God, the inner man waxed strong, a clear conscience is indeed the blessing of one obedient to His Word. Amen.
