Ephesians 1:22-23 The Exaltation of Christ

Ephesians 1:22-23 (KJV)  And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

The ascension of Christ to the heavenly throne at the right hand of the Father far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion brings comfort to the heart of the believer.

God has put all things under Christ and gave Him to be the head over the church. In Christ is the fullness of the church.

Jesus says in John 15:4 (KJV)  Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

John 15:5 (KJV)  I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

John 15:7-8 (KJV)  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

The exaltation of Christ brings comfort to His people as they come boldly to the throne of grace. Amen.
