Church App
Our new church app has been developed in-house to cater to the needs of the church. The app can be downloaded from Apple App Store and the Google Play Store under the heading “Blessed Hope”.
In the “Devotions” tab, is the publication of a daily devotion for your spiritual edification.
In the “Podcast” tab, is the bi-monthly publication of audio sermons on pertinent topics. There are 24 recorded audio sermons of Robert Murray M’Cheyne on the book of Hebrews. Topics include “So Great Salvation” – How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and confirmed unto us by them that heard him (Hebrews 2:3), “Christ Always the Same” – “If Christ be the same yesterday, and today and for ever, then here is matter for unchangeable peace and joy. All that have fled to Christ must be safe forever.”
In the “Sermons” tab, are the recorded church sermons in audio and video format that can be assessed chronologically and by sermon series.
In the “Hymn” tab, the hymns from the “Revival Hymns and Choruses” is listed with lyrics and music for each hymn.
In the “Bible” tab, the KJV Bible is made available.
In the “Archives” tab, access to our archive of past church weekly newsletters, Sermons, Church Camps, Past Prayer Meeting Series Notes, Adult Sunday Class Notes, Devotions.
In the “Weekly” tab, are the latest weekly newsletters.
In the “YouTube” tab, are video sermons.
There is a section under the book heading below, there are three tabs – “Books”, “Commentaries” and “Biographies”.
Under the “Books” tab, there are books from puritan writers – Fellowship with God (Hugh Binning), Religious Affections (Jonathan Edwards), Christ Crucified (Stephen Charnock), What meanest thou, O sleeper (CH Spurgeon), The Trial and Triumph of Faith (Samuel Rutherford), Bunyan’s Dying Sayings (John Bunyan), The Nature of True Repentance (Thomas Watson), The Godly Man’s Picture (Thomas Watson), Counterfeit Repentance (Thomas Watson).
Under the “Commentaries” tab, there are the commentaries of Matthew Henry and Matthew Poole.
Under the “Biographies” tab, there are Audio Books and written biographies on The Life of David Brainerd, Robert Murray M’Cheyne, John Sung My Teacher, Footprints on the Sands of Time, CH Spurgeon’s Autobiography.
Readers are encouraged to introduce the new church app to others as a spiritual resource.
