Proverbs 1:33 Only Trust Him

Proverbs 1:33 (KJV)  But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil. 

A comforting hymn for strengthening our faith to keep following the Lord. For of such shall be safety and quiet. Seek no other!

Come, every soul by sin oppressed,
There’s mercy with the Lord;
And He will surely give you rest,
By trusting in His word.
Only trust Him, only trust Him,
Only trust Him now;

Refrain:
He will save you, He will save you,
He will save you now.

Jesus says, in Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)  Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

In Jesus Christ, no evil can overtake and no fear can overwhelm. May the Lord grant rest in Him. Amen.
