John 17:3 This Is Life Eternal

John 17:3 (KJV) And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

The blessedness of acknowledging Jesus Christ is that He is the only true God, the only begotten Son sent by the Father. Through Him, we have life eternal, when we repent of our sins.

1 John 4:9 (KJV)  In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 

This was the testimony of the angel of the Lord sent to Joseph before Jesus’ birth Matthew 1:21 (KJV)  And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. 

Jesus is the only begotten of God, He is the very God, not created, but the Creator Himself.

Thank God for such marvelous knowledge revealed that we might live through Him through the Scriptures. Let us take time to meditate upon Christ and be richly blessed.
