Psalm 73:24 Guidance and Glory

Psalm 73:24 (KJV)  Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. 

The child of God is not left without proper advice. God guides us through His good word. And He also gives us understanding of His counsel through the illumination of the Holy Spirit.

As the psalmist would testify affirming our text in Psalm 119:105 (KJV)  NUN. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

 Though life may be fraught with danger and filled with threatenings yet in Christ we can navigate safely through every hostile terrain.

There is a glorious consummation for the people of God who are not only fully guided in life but promptly promoted to glory when we have run our race.

Let us press on looking to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Amen.
