Psalm 37:3 Faith and Fruit

Psalm 37:3 (KJV)  Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

Trusting in the LORD is the blessed gift of faith and such faith manifest its strength and reality in divine enablement to do good that impact lives for eternity. Here we see a correlation of God’s protection and His sustenance for ourselves and thus our families.

A heartening promise from God for the people of God to keep trusting God by obeying His Word in a hostile world.

Jesus reminded His disciples in John 7:7 (KJV)  The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. Also, in John 15:18 (KJV)  If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

However, in Christ, there is victory and overcoming – John 15:7-8 (KJV)  If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

Amen.
