2 Corinthians 9:8 Having All Sufficiency

2 Corinthians 9:8 (KJV)  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

The Apostle Paul observed well in Romans 5:1-2 (KJV)  Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

The grace of God was described in our text here as “all grace” that abounds in the life of the believer because God did it! The grace of God is His unmerited favour. And that favour of God in all its multi-faceted quality and fullness comes to His people so that we will always have no lack!

That we may be sufficiently equipped in Christ to abound in every good work. In other words, the storehouse of spiritual strength and wisdom and blessing comes to us to enable us to be good witnesses for the Lord.

What a promise! What a truth! Jesus indeed has said, “lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.” Let His people say, “Amen.” All praise and thanks to our great God!
