Revelation 15:1-4; A Victory Song (2)

1And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast (Antichrist), and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name (666), stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

The song of the Lamb was heard in heaven by the Apostle John which he recorded for us:

Revelation 5:6-14 (KJV) And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four andtwenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. 11And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; 12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. 13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, beunto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. 14And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four andtwenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

The final battle will be led by Christ Himself from heaven. He is identified for us in Rev. 5:5 – Revelation 5:1-5 (KJV) And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Christ will lead the charge to final victory where He will return physically to earth with the armies of heaven and the glorified saints to dealt the Antichrist with the final death blow.

The persecuted saints through the ages, all the tribulation saints are described here rejoicing at the victory.

2 Corinthians 1:5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

4Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thouonly artholy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

The nations will finally be brought to bring homage to the rightly King Jesus who is Creator and Sustainer of the universe.

Hebrews 1:1-3 (KJV) God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by hisSon, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of hisglory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.

This is the advice through the ages for all rebellious princes of the earth to kowtow to Jesus Christ, the Lamb (Saviour) and the Lion of the Tribe of Judah (Judge). If men will not receive Him as Saviour, there is only the fearful awaiting of judgment to come!

Psalm 2:1-12 (KJV) Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, 3Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. 4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 5Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. 7I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou artmy Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give theethe heathen forthine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth forthy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. 10Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. 12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish fromthe way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed areall they that put their trust in him.

Oftentimes, the people of God feels that they are in this life alone. His power and strength cannot seem to help them. Well, this text refutes that claim. God is still on the throne and His care and love for our welfare is in no wise diminished even though it may seem so observing the environment and the situation around us without the eyes of faith.
