Revelation 14:6-7; Worship Him that Made Heaven and Earth and the Sea and the Fountains of Waters

Revelation 14:6-7 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

The angel’s stern warning is that the Creator is also the Judge; He is the one people should fear and worship, rather than Satan and Antichrist. As the world teeters on the brink of final disaster, God graciously offers people another chance to repent. He will snatch those who heed the warning from the fire of judgment (cf. Jude 23), and transfer them from Satan’s kingdom of darkness into the soon to be manifest kingdom of His Son (Colossians 1:13).

Jude 23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Colossians 1:13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Understanding one’s root is paramount to one’s redemption. God is our Creator. We are made in His image. Worship Him.

When a person is awakened to the truth of his origin, he is awakened from being an orphan to being a beloved child returned to the comforts of his home.

In those final moments, men is beckoned to come back to their Father in heaven through the atoning meditation of His Son Jesus Christ.

The same message, a most powerful plea, a gospel that carries miraculous power of deliverance.

As we look at the world today, we see the picture of a civilisation gone astray and amok. A sad picture of men moving toward self-destruction.

May the truth of the gospel be declared far and wide so that souls may be snatched from the gates of hell and transported to the gates of heaven. What a difference!

Let us realise our work in sharing the good news is never in vain. Amen.
