Revelation 14:6; An Angel Preached the Everlasting Gospel

Revelation 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

When sent 144,000 Jewish evangelist during the Great Tribulation to declare the gospel, He sent the two witness against a mad throng of unbelievers energised by Satan. Now in the final act of grace, God sent an angel to preach the everlasting gospel to all the unbelieving world – to every nation, kindred, tongue and people.

There is no reason any could blame God when His judgment finally fall upon them without recourse. Every possible means of grace in the long-suffering of God was extended.

Christ has won the victory over sin and death by His suffering in His life and death upon the cross – Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

Christ was silent because He was bearing the reproaches and accusations and wrath that were due to all who would believe on Him. Had He stood upon His Godhead purity and refused to be accursed, had He refused the charges laid against Him, then His people would have had to bear all the wrath due to their own sins. [M’Cheyne]

There is no need to be silent, the victory is won. All who appropriate Christ’s atonement on their behalf escape the eternal wrath of God.

Therefore, the angel is sent to announce, declare and simply ensure that the Good News is not hidden to the suffering and dying.

Likewise, the gospel is hereby declared for our sake. Amen.
