Revelation 12:17; The Dragon Was Wroth with the Woman

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. 

The battle of Satan (the dragon) against the woman (Israel) was in effect against the faithful remnant who kept the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

In the Great Tribulation, there will be a remnant of converted Jesus who holdfast to the testimony of Jesus and Christ and keep the commandments of God. They will be divinely protected by God against the onslaught of the enemy to take God out of the earth.

Psalm 2:4 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. 

Psalm 2:11-12 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
