Revelation 9:6; Death Shall Flee From Them

Revelation 9:6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

This temporal torment is light affliction compared with the torment of hell-fire. If these men will but see the light and come to faith in Jesus Christ, they shall still escape the eternal torment of the second death.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Hebrews 10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

Isaiah 46:13 I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.

Romans 9:22-23 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,

If there be one soul that shall be saved, that soul shall escape the eternal torment of hell-fire. In the light of the eternal judgment, let us persuade men of the terror of the Lord that men everywhere may repent. Amen.
