Revelation 7:14-17; The Lamb Shall Feed Them

Revelation 7:14-17 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

What great consolations for the persecuted of God’s people. They shall be fed by our Lord Jesus Christ in heaven and shall be given nourishing water that refreshes them.

Their sorrow shall be turned to joy. God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

Following Jesus brings eternal blessings although the gate is strait and the way narrow. The end of which we witness in our text is blessing as this way leadeth unto life.

As Jesus explains in Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Although the way is narrow, God will be merciful to open the eyes of many in those Tribulation days to save many and lead many to escape the judgment of burning earth and the eternal hellfire.

 Follow Me

I hear my risen Saviour say:
Follow me, follow me, follow me!
His voice is calling all the day
Follow me, follow me, follow me!

(Full Chorus)
For thee I trod the bitter way
For thee I gave my life away;
And drank the gall thy debt to pay
Follow me, follow me, follow me!

May God’s people take heart to follow our risen Saviour! Amen.
