2 Corinthians 1:3-4, In All Our Tribulation

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

The word “tribulation’ means “pressing together, squeezing”. It describes a pressure applied to a breaking point. The Apostle Paul speaks of the comfort of God’s mercies during the time of tribulation for God’s people. He is there for them to take care of them who are in any trouble.

Hence, the testimony of God’s people is to bless their God for His care and unfailing mercies. He is with us and we can call to Him in times of need. He answers prayer swiftly.

Praise the Lord for the experiential knowledge of God’s goodness. May it be a testimony for the strengthening of the saints. Amen.
