Thank God for 70 campers gathered for our 4th Annual Family Bible Camp at the Pan Pacific Singapore.

The theme of our camp is “The Making of a Spiritual Man”. • Spiritual Man’s Profile 1 (Matthew 5:1-6)
  • Spiritual Man’s Profile 2 (Matthew 5:7-12)

(2) Father’s Day Blessing

Psalm 128:1-6 (KJV) 1 Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that walketh in his ways. 2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. 3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table. 4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD. 5 The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life. 6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children’s children, and peace upon Israel.

We salute the fathers in our congregation on this occasion of Father’s Day.

The psalmist tells us the blessings of the man who fears God. Such a man walks in obedience to God’s Word. He is willing to labour with his hands and receives God’s reward for his honest labour. As such, he is able to rear a happy family. He loves his wife and children. He nourishes them in a wholesome manner. The fruitful vine and the olive plants are visual pictures of spiritual prosperity. The godly father sees to the spiritual well-being of his family. He makes an effort to keep the togetherness of the family through regular meals together with meaningful conversations that strengthen the faith of the family. He leads his family regularly in worship! The blessing of God extends to children’s children. Blessed Father’s Day!

Yours lovingly,

Pastor Lek Aik Wee
