Matthew 16:18 (KJV) And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Christ shall build His Church. The gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Christ is the Rock, the Foundation Stone, upon which His Church is established upon.

Peter, was given the assurance by Christ that Christ’s mission will prevail for the rescue of souls from hell to heaven when these repent and come to Christ for salvation. Amen.
