Jeremiah 17:7 (KJV) Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is

To trust in the LORD is termed a man’s blessedness. This blessedness is well illustrated by the prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 17:8 (KJV)  For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. 

There is fruitfulness in a life that replies upon the LORD and thus is nourished in the LORD and by the LORD. Such a life is indeed a life with fullness of help.

His hope is in the LORD, his life is rooted in Him. Therein is the strength of that life. Amen.
