Philippians 1:6 This Very Thing

Philippians 1:6 (KJV) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

It was this very thing that the Apostle Paul emphasised to the believers in Christ that He who has saved them will save them to the uttermost. Till the day of Christ, the consummation of all things.

The believers must not be dismayed when the trials in life becomes very hard and rough. The Lord is with them and able to undergird them through every temptatiom.

But be assured, “being confident” is the phrase of comfort. The good work of salvation that has begun will reach its blessed fruition at Christ’s coming again to receive His church to glory. None shall be lost, but all safe ushered to eternity with Christ. Amen.
