Proverbs 3:25-26 The LORD Shall Be Thy Confidence

Proverbs 3:25-26 (KJV) Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh.
For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

Having the LORD to guide the lives of His people, they are secured in Him. Their foot shall not be taken.

God’s people are secured in the LORD, they shall not be afraid whatever may be the calamity, even in the judgment of the wicked. His people will be protected as Abraham was when Sodom and Gormorah was destroyed.

The Lord did warn Abraham of the impending destruction. Notified in advance, he prayed for God’s mercy to save the righteous in the city. And God did. Amen.
