Hebrews 13:15 Offer The Sacrifice Of Praise To God Continually

Hebrews 13:15 (KJV) By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

We have here no continuing city but seek one to come. It is most fitting that the believer’s perspective is heavenward.

Giving thanks to God in the Name of Christ, let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually. By the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to God, we exalt Christ and give glory to God.

This offering of the lips in praise is a sacrifice. It is a conscious effort to seek God and His righteousness in thanksgiving. Amen.
