Psalm 3:3 Shield and Glory
Psalm 3:3 (KJV) But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
When Adam and Eve sinned, the glory of God left them. The LORD provided a covering of skin to cloth their nakedness and shame as a result of their sin signifying sacrifice of Christ for the remission of our sins.
Coming to Christ, brings back God’s righteousness in the lives of God’s people. He is their shield and glory.
The LORD protects His own and glorifies His own and is a Deliverer to them under persecution and oppression. Amen.
