Isaiah 60:1-2 Arise, Shine

Isaiah 60:1-2 (KJV) Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

The witness of the believer to the glory of God is reflective of glory of God manifested in the believer’s life, The Holy Spirit energises and invigorates the believer’s witness for the LORD.

The believer’s witness will be as light repelling the darkness that covers the earth. The gross darkness of the people.

Arise, shine; is the exhortation to God’s people. Go forth as His witness as His glory rest upon thee. Amen.
