Infant Baptism of Abigail Lim Xin Ning

Thank God for the gift of a baby girl Abigail Lim Xin Ning to Zhuo Yan and Grace on 24 November 2025. Zhuo Yan and Grace brings baby Abigail for infant baptism today. May the Lord strengthen Zhuo Yan and Grace to bring up Abigail in the nurture and admonition of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). Their older child Anna Lim Zhen Ning was baptised on 31 December 2023. All praise and thanksgiving to the Lord.

Baptism of Dennis Tan Keng Huat

Thank God for the baptism of Dennis Tan Keng Huat on 22 December 2025 at the hospital. Dennis affirmed his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ on 19 December 2025. He suffered from lung cancer that has spread to the brain and has been undergoing treatment since August 2024. 

Dennis attended worship service with his wife Elaine and daughter Chantel on 4 August 2024 shortly after he started his first treatment. Subsequently, he was too weak to come for worship in person. Foundation Bible Class notes were given to him to prepare for baptism. Recordings of the Foundation Bible Classes and Westminster Catechism were also sent to him. He joined us for worship online and the church has been praying for him since. 

The Lord took Dennis home in the early hour on 23 December 2025. Vigil Services were held at the wake in their home on 23, 24, 25 and 26 December with opportunities to share the gospel with their loved ones and friends. Dennis was buried at the Choa Chu Kang Christian Cemetery on 27 December 2025. Thank God for granting good weather for the burial service. Thank God for His salvation grace for Dennis. Pray for God’s comfort and grace for Dennis’ wife Elaine and two daughters, Chantal and Brittany.
