Hebrews 10:35-36 Ye Have Need Of Patience

Hebrews 10:35-36 (KJV) Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Patience is needed to accomplish the will of God. To be steadfast and persevering, taking small yet sure steps of faith.

The courage to take God at His Word, and acting in faith. Comes with the promise of reward.

The Apostle Paul likewise expresses it in the book of Philistines, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:14). The promise is sure, the recompense of reward great. Amen.
