Proverbs 8:34 Blessed Is The Man

Proverbs 8:34 (KJV) Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

The man is blessed of the LORD who hears His Word. Hearing means understanding and obeying the Word of God.

Watching daily at my gates refers to the man who takes time to be alone with Him to receive His Word when He would by His Spirit give understanding and clarity.

Waiting at the post of my doors refers to the man who forsakes the world, denying himself, resisting the devil to do the sacred will of God. Amen.
