Psalm 117:1-2 (KJV) O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. 2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth forever. Praise ye the LORD.

The psalmist cited his reason for the nations and people to praise the LORD. It is His merciful kindness that is great toward them.

It is His redemption plan in action through Israel as a witness to the nations of the world and through the church as the gospel is being declared.

There is salvation, sanctification and the hope of eternal glory. Indeed, the truth of the LORD endureth forever. Let His people praise Him. Amen.
