Ephesians 1:17 (KJV) That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

To know God is the greatest and most glorious of endeavour of man. The Godhead consist of the Father in heaven and our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Holy Spirit.

It is the Holy Spirit that imparts wisdom and revelation to the people of God, enlightening their hearts and minds to embrace the truth of God’s Word. For this, the Apostle Paul revealed that he was in unceasing prayer for the saints that they may grow in grace and knowledge of things eternal and thus truly valuable.

How precious is the blessing of knowing God – Ephesians 1:18 (KJV) The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints! Amen.
